Stone Kiwi Sculpture
Handcrafted | Brown Serpentine, Reclaimed Metal & Wood
A love letter to New Zealand's most iconic bird, handcrafted in beautiful stone.
Designed and crafted by Zimbabwean-born, New Zealand sculptor Jack Stobart, along with his team, each kiwi is lovingly shaped from rich brown serpentine - a stone prized for its warm, lustrous depth and the way it seems to glow from within. No two pieces are identical; the natural variation in the stone means every kiwi carries its own unique character.
The long, slender beak is carved from wood, the bright resin eye catches the light with quiet personality, and the delicate feet are fashioned from recycled metal - a nod to resourcefulness and craft. Together, the materials give each piece a pleasing tactile quality: smooth stone body, fine wire-like toes, the subtle grain of the beak.
A genuinely handmade piece with a distinctly New Zealand soul - and a gift that will be kept for a lifetime.
